Chief of War is a Hawaiian historical drama television series created by Thomas Paʻa Sibbett and Jason Momoa.
Jason Momoa stars as Ka'iana, a warrior chief from Kaua'i.
The series is set in the late 18th century and centers on the four major kingdoms of the Hawaiian Islands.
It tells the story of the unification and colonization of the Hawaiian Islands from 1782 to 1810 under King Kamehameha I.
The series follows Ka'iana (Jason Momoa) as he attempts to unite and protect the Hawaiian kingdoms from the growing threat of foreign colonization.
